Birth and Beyond Brisbane offers comprehensive private antenatal classes in your own home and at a time that is convenient to you. Classes focus on physiology, birth skills and decision making and included a workbook. This flexible option allows you to choose the time and place or even bring another pregnant friend to share the cost. They can be tailored to your specific needs. Prices start at $250 for 5 hours spread over two sessions.
baby and you Education Classes
It’s finally happened! I have teamed up with my wonderful friend, Janet from Birthplace, to create a whole new set of classes! Together, as Baby & You Education, we are delighted to bring our classes to the families of Brisbane, Redlands and Gold Coast.
Postpartum and Newborn Care:
Learn what's normal, what isn't and where to go for help. In this session you will discover how to prepare for your baby, how to care for yourslef and your baby in the early weeks and some tried and tested tips and tricks to support an easier transition into parenthood.
Baby CPR and Choking:
Learn to identify medical red flags, common childhood ailments, where and when to seek help. Gain the confidence to perform baby CPR and choking first aid in an emergency.
Essential Birth Skills:
Prepare for the birth of your baby. In this session we explore some coping methods for labour, pain relief techniques and practical skills to support a positive birthing experience.
