About me
Natalie Shiell: Postpartum Nanny, Childbirth and Parenting Educator, Teacher.
I decided to leave my career as a high school teacher to become a childbirth and parenting educator after experiencing first hand the difference that continual support made to my postpartum and parenting journey. As a mother of two young boys, I understand the need for families to be able to make informed and evidence-based choices and to be able to advocate for themselves. The path into parenthood is extraordinary and multifaceted and one course of action is not always the best for everyone. Whatever your goal, I am there to support your choices, physically, emotionally and educationally!
After many years of working with women and families throughout pregnancy and birth, I realised that there was a lack of support options for new parents and adapted my service to include postpartum and parenting support with the goal of supporting parents to establish the “village” that we are missing in the modern age.
